A largely lost function points to our brain's design
DMT, arguably the world’s most potent psychedelic, is naturally produced in the brain during birth and near death. It is said that our brain also used to release DMT in psychedelics concentrations during dreaming.
Imagine living in a world where cars are only known as music listening boxes.
Imagine; A world where everyone who owns a vehicle uses it for the sole purpose of listening to music inside it in their driveway. Not one person is aware of cars’ mobility function, let alone has taken their music box for a ride.
Now imagine the first person who got their vehicle to drive. They are so.. moved!
Eagerly, this person rushes to their friends and family to share the news: “YOU GUYS. Our music boxes, they move!”
They go: “What are you talking about? No they don’t.”
He insists: “No they really do. And they go much faster than we can. It is as if they were designed for it”.
The friends push back: “No. We use our music boxes to listen to music. That is they are for. You really should not move your box. This could interfere with your speakers!”
The guy goes on: “These things are MEANT to drive. Why else would they be situated on 4 wheels, have a steering wheel and an engine that can take them places?…”
DMT’s natural production in the brain during birth and near death is like this engine, 4 wheels and steering wheel, pointing to an innate and integral function of our human vehicles to work with altered states, a function that is largely lost (outside of delivery and collection of our vehicles), that is now asking to resurface.

Psychedelics are but one form of altered states and the most advanced beings on this planet are not necessarily the psychonauts. But it is also not for no reason that every lineage under the sun has some ritual with altered states. Find yours.
